People Power: The 1986 Philippine EDSA Revolution Documentary

This is a documentary project on the 1986 Philippines EDSA Revolution, written, composed and edited by three 7th grade students from Syracuse, New York, for the Junior Group Documentary category of National History Day 2006.

This documentary took first place at the regional level, second place at the New York state level, and narrowly missed becoming one of the top 12 finalists in the National History Day competition held from June 11-15, 2006 at the University of Maryland.

When eight-week-old Nicole Beverly, first-born of Lea Salonga and Robert Chien, was baptized last Sunday, July 9, at the St. James Church in Ayala Alabang, she wore the same baptismal dress (including the headdress and bonnet) that Lea and brother Gerard did when they themselves were baptized.

lea salonga is also trying to get back in shape for a plan Asian Tour at the end of the year. she ended her successful US tour last year with a sold out carneige debut concert in NY.
