as expected, silver city at yorkdale was crowded V day evening... yea, tons of teen agers trying to catch a late night show. we were in a dilemma on what to see... an animated movie, and 2 other chick flick movie... im glad we chose 'taken'. the best movie ive seen so far this year. good action, very engaging. never boring.

aside from changing all our lights to CFLs... i like having plants in the house. so one day i ended up going to RONA and home depot buying some familiar tropical plants (that my mom used to grow) for indoor.

Tucker's Market

tonight's dinner lead us to Tucker's Market in Etobicoke near Woodbine Casino. What's good about the place? If it's your birthday... youre dinner is free! haha... all you need to show is a driver's license or a passport... if you wanna shy away from the msg of mandarin buffet. then this is the place.

Skiing Trip

we were blessed yesterday with a perfect weather to ski. it took us over an hour driving to barrie from toronto. i was still sleepy after a late night movie watching 'the curious case of benjamin button'

Horse Shoe Valley

we arrived at the ski resort past 9... went to the cafe right away to get a big breakfast. we need something to fuel us in the run.

Skiing

around 2 pm, the resort was already a bit crowded and im beginning to hate the line up for the lift. my cousins finished their run while me, jay and david took a break for a drink (the hot apple cider was good, and its free!) then did a few rounds before heading back to toronto to have late lunch in a viet resto. btw, pho con bo at jane and wilson has the best pho in GTA!
