Cambridge

after crossing the bridge from detroit to windsor, ontario. we head back south to toronto. stopped in this small town called cambridge which is 1 hour away from toronto.


i love this town. very relaxed... that old town feel, friendly people and very nice architecture.

Michigan

Last weekend was a road trip with some good old freinds that I have not hanged out for awhile. The place of choice, Michigan....place to go Flint and Detroit.



Heard so much not so good comments about Detroit and neighbouring places in Michigan. Ghost town, arm pit of America, etc. Sad but what i saw last weekend in Detroit was a beautiful downtown, nice buildings and architecture. A sign that this used to be a big and progressive city.

Spent most of my time last weekend helping my niece with her photo shoot for mini cooper ad campaign.

Sunday was a rainy day and it took us over an hour to finish this at a bus stop, Yonge and Rosedale area.

Pinoy Food Day

Didn't know that this is gonna be an all Filipino food day.





Best way to start the day with eggs, garlic fried rice and Filipino sausage.




String beans, tiger shrimp and butter squash (from Mexico) in coconut milk.

Marcello's Pizzeria

Tonight was an all Italian dinner. We explored a bit our area since were just a stone throw away from Corso Italia.

Bread was ok, not the greatest I tried though.




One of the best seafood linguini I tried. You can almost taste all the ingredients thats on the menu. Nothin overshadows the other.




Derek was right, their Tiramisu just melts in your mouth. Awesome!

Snow in Spring

Just when you thought that spring is here and winter is finally over.

I mean, the bulbs in my front yard are pushing it's way out from the ground.









I was hoping to jinx the snow forecast yesterday.

Subway Sandwich

Split with my co worker and paid $3 for this vegetarian subway. The dressing is so yummy (sweet onion) I forgot its all vege. I should be eating this Friday since I'm abstaining for the Lenten season.
